UPSC CDS I 2014 Notification

CDS I 2014 Notification was given by UPSC for Combined Defense Services Examination (I), 2014. Commission has given this notification (advertisement) on 02.11.2013 for the selection in the following courses –

1. Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun
2. Indian Naval Academy (INA)
3. Air Force Academy (AFA), Hyderabad
4. Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai
5. Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai for Women (Non-technical)

Eligibility Criteria for CDS I 2014

Eligibility for above mentioned courses are different and mentioned in the below table -

Note –

• Relaxation in age for SC & ST candidates - 5 years and for OBC candidates – 3 years.
• Final year appearing candidates can also apply.

Examination Fee

For CDS I 2014 Exam, a non-refundable fee of Rs. 100/- will be paid by candidates. Below are the modes of payment –

• Through Cash at any SBI branch
• Through internet banking of SBI and its associate banks
• Through any Master/Visa Credit/Debit Cards

Note – All the Female, SC, ST and PH candidates are need not to pay examination fee.

Negative Marking - Any wrong answer will result in negative marking. So be sure before answering.

Important Dates

• Starting date for online application – 02.11.2013
• Last date for online application – 02.12.2013 till 11:59pm
• Examination date – 09.02.2014
• Admit Card Download – from 20.01.2014
