Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) had given notification for the recruitment of Constable (Driver).

SSB Constable Driver Selection Process

Selection process comprises of seven steps, and candidates have to qualify each steps one by one for the final selection. These steps are -

• Documents checking - SSB first will check all the submitted documents and shortlist all the eligible candidates for further recruitment process.

• Physical Standard Test (PST) - Qualified candidates will be called for PST to check their eligibility.

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - Candidates who will clear PST, will be called for PET and PET qualified candidates will undergo further process.

• Written Exam Test - PET qualified candidates will have to give written examination. This exam will be OMR based objective type exam and test will check the proficiency of candidates in General English/Hindi and General Knowledge. Candidates who will clear cut - off of 35 % for General and 33 % SC/ST/OBC marks will qualify for the next step.

• Driving Test - Written qualified candidates will have to undergo Driving and technical test.

• After the qualification of Driving test, candidates will be undergoing Medical and Review Medical Test.

Note - SSB will not be issuing any admit card/call letter for these examinations, only LIST OF QUALIFIED CANDIDATES will be published on the official website - www.ssbrectt.gov.in. So, after application, candidates are required to keep visiting the website to check SSB Constable Driver Merit List 2016.
