OSSC (Odisha Staff Selection Commission) announced the notification for the recruitment of Junior Assistants. Eligible and interested candidates may apply online.there are 3 phases of examination:

1. Preliminary Examination
2. Main (Written Examination)
3. Practical Skill Test (Basic Computer Skill)

After application forms candidates also required their OSSC Admit card 2016 for the entrance in the examination center, OSSC Admit Card/ Call Letter for the Preliminary Examination will be uploaded by the commission on the official website of OSSC.

Candidates may download their OSSC Call letter before the examination date. In the OSSC Admit card, candidates get all the information about Date and Timings of the examination, Venue of the written examination etc.

Accordingly, the admit cards will be received/downloaded after filling the required details.

All the candidates are advised to download it and take a print out of this as no paper based admit card will be sent by the commission to any candidate.

OSSC Syllabus for Junior Assistants and Exam Pattern:

Preliminary Examination

In this examination questions are based on General Awareness, the questions shall be of objective type with

multiple choices, duration of the examination is 1 ½ Hours and the paper will be consist of 100 Marks.

Main Examination- In main written examination paper is divided in three parts:

Part –I- Language Test (English and Odia)- 100 Marks

Part-II- General Knowledge (Objective Type) -100 marks

Part III- Mathematics and Basic Computer Skills (Objective Type) -200 Marks

Practical Skill Test- This test is based on basic computer skill paper will be consist 50 Marks and

duration will be of 1 Hour.
