Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Recruitment 2014 for PGT & TGT in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), which is
an organization under the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, has invited
online applications for the posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) &
Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs). There are 514 vacancies for PGT and 423
vacancies for TGT. Eligible candidates can apply online from 1st Feb
to 28th Feb’14. More details are given below –

Relaxation in upper limit of age will also be given for the reserved category candidates.
Selection Process:
- Written Examination and
- Interview (only for those candidates who qualifies the written exam)
Merit
list of NVS Recruitment will be prepared and uploaded on website on the same
basis.
Application
Fee: Rs. 500/- only for General & OBC candidates
It
should be paid by challan to Union Bank of India. Additional Rs. 60/- against
bank charge will also be taken.
Note:
Fee is exempted for SC, ST, Physically Handicapped & Female candidates.

How
to Apply:
- Open website
- In recruitment section, click on "Filling up of ONLINE APPLICATION FORM FOR RECRUITMENT OF PGTs & TGTs - 2014”
- Fill the application form with the required credentials
- Upload the photograph and signature in required size
- Click “submit” and take note of login id & password
- Now, take print out of Bank Fee Challan
- Pay the fee of Rs. 560/- to UBI Bank
- Re-login to website by using login id & password
- Fill the fee details - Journal No. or Transaction ID, Branch code, Deposition Date, total amount.
Keep your copy of fee challan and bring
it to the exam centre as without this, candidates will not be allowed for
examination.
Print out of application form is also
required with the photograph at the time of verification of documents.
Important Dates
- Online Application: from 1st Feb to 28th Feb’14
- Last date of fee submission: 1st March’14
- Online submission of fee detail: till 3rd March’14
- Download NVS Admit Card: from 31st March’14
- Exam date: 27th April’14
