IIM Common Admission Test (CAT) Exam 2016: 

 Notification, Exam & Important Dates, Online Registration etc.

Indian Institute of Management is conducting Common Admission Test 2016 (CAT 2016) during a 21 days testing window. CAT 2016 is conducted by IIMs for admission in various management programs of IIMs.

CAT 2016-2017 ELIGIBILITY:

Candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree with Minimum 50 % marks or equivalent CGPA. 45% for SC/ST/DA candidates.

RESERVATION:

As per the Government of India, 15 % seats are reserved for SC candidates,7 1/2 %  for ST candidates and 27 % of seats are reserved for Other Backward Classes candidates.

SALE OF CAT VOUCHERE/FORM 2016-2017:

Candidates can obtain CAT 2016-17 Vouchers from the branches of Axis Bank and their associated outlets. For Rs. 1600/-and Rs. 800/- for SC/ST candidates.

REGISTRATION PROCESS CAT 2016-17:

When candidates can purchase CAT 2016 Voucher, candidates must log on to the website: www.Catiim.in to register for CAT 2016.

CAT SCORE CARD 2016:

• CAT 2016 Score Cards will be available on the website 
•  Candidates must take a printout of their Score Card. 
• After the score cards, IIMs will publish their cut-off lists.
• CAT Score Card 2016 will be valid for 01 year.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

Selection process may include:

• Written Ability Test.
• Group Discussion (GD).
• Personal Interview (PI).
• Performance in CAT 2016 is an important component.
