Western Railway Scouts & Guides Quota Recruitment 2014

The Western Railway, came into existence on 05th November, 1951, Recently Western Railway invites application from Scouts & Guides candidates for recruitment of Group C & D Posts for the year 2014-15. Eligible Candidates can apply by sending their application forms on or before 15th December 2014. Other details of Western Railway Scouts & Guides Quota Recruitment 2014 are given below: 

Important Dates: 

• Opening Date: 15- 11- 2014 
• Closing Date: 15- 12- 2014 
• Closing Date (Remote Areas): 29- 12- 2014 

Name, Number and Pay Scale of Posts: 

1. Group C: 02 Posts, Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- & Gr. Pay Rs.1900/- or 2000/- 
2. Group D (Erstwhile): 12 Posts, Pay Scale: Rs.5200- 20200/- & Gr. Pay Rs.1800/-

Eligibility Criteria for Western Railway Scouts & Guides Quota Recruitment 2014

Age Limit (As on 01- 01- 2015): 

Group C: 

• UR: Age of the candidate must be between 18 to 30 years.
• OBC: Age must be between 18 to 33 years.
• SC/ST: Age must be between 18 to 35 years.

Group- D: 

• UR: Age of the candidate must be between 18 to 33 years.
• OBC: Age must be between 18 to 36 years.
• SC/ST: Age must be between 18 to 38 years.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must have Passed  10th Standard or equivalent with aggregate 50% marks and possess Scouting & Guiding qualification as in Para 5.0. 

Selection Process: Selection will be made through:

1. Written Test 

2. Personality Test/ Interview 

Examination Fee: Rs. 100/- will be paid in the form of Postal Order. 

Application Process: Neatly typed or hand written applications in given format should be addressed to relevant official location by Registered Post/ Speed Post/ Courier on or before 15-12-2014.
