UGC NET June 2014 Notification,Online Application Form,Exam Date 

University Grants Commission invites online applications for National Eligibility Test (NET 2014) for the eligibility for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in 79 subjects. Exam will be conducted on 29th June 2014. Eligible candidates can apply online on or before 05th May 2014. Other details related to this notification are given below: 

Age Limit: 

• For Junior Research Fellowship: Age of the candidate shall be not more than 28 years as on 01.06.2014. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC & Women candidates is of 5 years. 
• For Assistant Professor: No upper age limit is applicable. 

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC with min 55% Marks in respective/related subject. 

Examination Fee: 

• Rs.450/- for General candidates 
• Rs.225/- for OBC candidates 
• Rs.110/- for SC/St/PWD candidates 

Mode of Payment: Candidates can pay their exam fee through system generated Bank Challan form, in any State Bank of India Branch. 

How to Apply: Candidates can apply online through UGC NET website www.ugcnetonline.in or www.ugc.ac.in on or before 05th May 14

• Last date for Applying Online & generation of filled Bank Challan for Fee: 05-05-14 
• Last date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank Challan, at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI): 07-05-14 
• Last date of taking printout of Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admit Card: 10-05-2014 
• Last date for receiving the printout of online Application: 15-05-14 
• Date of UGC NET 2014 Exam: 29-06-14
