Meghalaya Police announced the notification for the post of Commandos/ constables Male, Mechanics, Buglers, Armourers, Signal/ Communication Constables, Drivers, Followers Posts only for permanent residents of Meghalaya. - Armourers: 04 Posts
- Signal/ Communication Constables: 18 Posts

- Followers: 60 Posts (Male)
- Cook: 30 Posts
- Barbers: 10 Posts
- Water carriers: 05 Posts
- Sweepers: 10 Posts
- Dhobi: 05 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 21 years for all the above posts and 18 years to 27 years to followers’ posts. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the norms of Meghalaya Government.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidates in Written Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Trade Test and Interview.
Application Fee: Rs. 50/- for all category candidates in the form of application form fee.
Application Form Availability: Candidates can get the application forms by paying Rs. 50/ from offices of all District Superintendents of Police and Commandants of MLP Battalions and Principal, PTS Mawroh Shillong from 01-03-2014.
