Gujarat High Court Stenographer Syllabus for Main Examination 2015

Gujarat High Court is going to recruit English and Gujarati Stenographer under Grade II and III. For selection written main exam will be conducted and for this candidates required Gujarat High Court Stenographer  Syllabus 2015:

This Syllabus and paper pattern is for:

• English Stenographer Grade-I (Class-II)
• English Stenographer Grade-II (Class-III)
• Gujarati Stenographer Grade-I (Class-II)
• Gujarati Stenographer Grade-II (Class-III)

Scheme of Competitive Examination:

1. Main Examination: Question Paper shall contain 100 Multiple Choice Questions, 1 Mark each. For every wrong / multiple answers, there shall be Negative Marking of 0.33 Marks. Language of the Question Paper shall be Gujarati and/or English.

Syllabus of Main Examination: questions shall be based on below mentioned subjects:

• English Language
•  Gujarati Language
• General Knowledge
• Arithmetic
• Current Affairs
• Indian History and Geography
• Basics of Computer Applications
• Sports
• Analytical Reasoning      
• Mental  Ability etc.

2. Practical / Skill Tests (Typing Test):

• Speed Test of 50 Marks
• Minimum Qualifying Marks for Interview: 40%

3. Viva-Voce Test (Interview): Gujarat High Court Stenographer Interview Questions to check the  mental ability shall be based on:

• Power of assimilation
•  Power of communication,
• Character and analytical ability

Note: Candidate must secure 40% Marks in the Viva-voce Test (Interview), for being eligible for final Select-List.
