SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Syllabus 2016
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has publicized a notification recently for the recruitment of eligible Indian candidates for the posts of Stenographer (Group - C & D).
For the examination point of view, it is important for the applicants to know about the pattern and syllabus of written exam as it is one of the hardest competitive examination of the country.
SSC Stenographer C & D Exam Pattern 2016
The exam will be conducted in two parts –
a. Written exam
b. Skill test in Stenography
Part – a will be of objective type paper and the time duration is 2 hrs. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
SSC Stenographer C & D Written Exam Syllabus 2016
These are the topics that are to be covered by the candidates to get good marks in the written exam.
1. General awareness – 50 marks
2. General Intelligence & Reasoning – 50 marks
3. English language and comprehension – 100 marks
SSC Skill Test in Stenography
The applicants, who will qualify the written exam, will be called for this test. Candidates have to type a dictation on computer either in Hindi or in English.
For group - C posts, the typing speed must be 100 w.p.m.
For group - D posts, it must be 80 w.p.m.
