CTET Feb 2016 Online Application Form

CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) 2016 is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to recruit potential teacher for the classes 1^st to 8^th. CTET exam has been planned to conduct in the month of February 2016. For this, candidates are needed to apply online through CBSE or CTET official website.

Eligibility

• For classes I to V : Intermediate (10+2) with Diploma/Degree in Elementary Education with 50% marks.
• For classes VI to VIII : Graduation with Diploma/Degree in Elementary Education with 50% marks OR Intermediate (10+2) with 4 year Degree in Elementary Education with 50% marks.

Relaxation in percentage by 5% will be given for SC, ST, OBC & PWDs

Online Application procedure – How to apply

Step 1: Read the Information Bulletin of CTET – FEB 2016

Step 2: Visit ctet.nic.in and click on “Apply Online for CTET - FEB 2016”

Step 3: In the next page, click on “PROCEED TO APPLY ONLINE”

Step 4: Read the Instructions and Procedure for Submission of Online Application Form CTET – FEB 2016 and click on “PROCEED TO APPLY ONLINE”

Step 5: Fill the Application From with the desired details and click “NEXT”

Step 6: Review Page – read the filled application form, if there is any mistake or changes required click “BACK” or else “FINAL SUBMIT”

Step 7: Now, you will receive a conformation SMS with Registration Number and also this will appear on the screen. Click “Upload Photograph and Signature”

Step 8: Upload the soft copy/scanned of your photograph (size between 4KB to 100 KB with dimension 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm) and signature (size between 1KB to 30 KB with dimension 3.5 cm X 1.5 cm) and click to preview and then upload.

Step 9: Now select the mode of payment viz. through challan or by debit/credit card.

Step 10: Download and print the confirmation page and Address Slip.

Step 11: Now, the print out of Application Form/Confirmation Page with original challan copy of CBSE (only if fees is paid through challan) with affixing your photograph and sign at the available space in the form and send it in a envelop (12’’ x 9’’) to the below mentioned address of CTET Unit of CBSE –

Please note: Application should be sent through Registered/Speed Post only. DO NOT forget to mention “APPLICATION FOR CTET – FEB 2016” in bold on the envelop.

Examination Fees –

• For General and OBC candidates: Rs. 500/- for Paper I or Paper II and Rs. 800/- for both the papers.
• For SC, ST & PWD candidates: Rs. 250/- for Paper I or Paper II and Rs. 400/- for both the papers.

Important dates to be remembered

• Online Application: from October 2015
• Last Date of receipt of Application Form: Nov’15
• Download CTET Admit Card: From January 2016
• Exam Date: Feb 2016
• Exam Timings:
• Paper II – 9:30 am to 12 Noon
• Paper I – 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm
