70 Thousand Vacancies
in Paramilitary Forces
Indian government
on 2nd Oct’13 has announced that in the coming year, they are going
to fill 70 thousand vacant positions of paramilitary forces for minority.
Sources are considering this announcement to be a pre-election attraction. But
the truth is that 70 thousand people will get an opportunity to work for
government.
According to
Government of India, these vacant posts will be filled through special
recruitment drives at different levels. The official of home ministry has
declares that this we are preparing for special recruitment drive which will
attract minority community youths.
Seven
paramilitary forces in the country, including CRPF, BSF, ITBP, SSB, CISF, NSG
and Assam Rifles are included. They
plan to hire more than 70 thousand. 42
700 constables, more than 25,200 JCO (junior commissioned officers) and 34
hundred officers will be recruited.
According to
statistics, the participation of minorities in the police force at present is
6.5 per cent. In 2012, 24 per
cent increase in the number of policemen, but the representation of minorities
declined by one per cent.
15-Point
Programme for the Welfare of Minorities by the Prime Minister announced the
hiring of policemen in the states have been asked to focus on minorities. Also headed by Justice Rajinder Sachar
Committee recommended that similar.
