Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), South Central Railways, Secunderabad has published recruitment notification for Group D employees in Indian Railways. Detail of vacancy & number of vacant positions –

• Trackman 
• Helper II 
• Assistant Points Man

10^th pass or ITI passed candidates are eligible to apply for these positions.

Its application process has been started, but, for candidates from distant areas (mentioned in notification) last day is different. In this recruitment, candidates have to download the application form from RRC website – www.scr.indianrailways.gov.in, fill and send it by post to Assistant Personnel Officer, RRC, Secunderabad (AP) office (complete address is mentioned in the official notification), along with a DD or Postal Order of Rs. 100/-.

Selection Procedure

RRC will call all the successful applications after scrutinizing it. Candidates will have to first clear the written examination, then Physical Efficiency Test and lastly Medical Test. Candidates have to clear each stage to qualify to appear in the next stage.

RRC will be sending admit card to all the valid applicants to appear in the written examination. RRC Secunderabad Group D Admit Card 2016 will be reached to all the candidates by at least one week before the examination date. Exam centre, timing and date will be mentioned on call letter.

RRC Secunderabad Group D Syllabus and Pattern of Written Examination 2016

Written exam will be of multiple choice objective type questions. Question paper will be in both Hindi & English language and negative marking of 1/3^rd will also be applicable.

Questions will be of class 10^th level, and will be asked from –

• General Knowledge
• General Awareness
• Current Affairs
• General Knowledge about Indian Railways
• Mathematics
• Reasoning
