Chhattisgarh Asst Statistical Officer & Investigator Admit Card | Syllabus

Directorate of Economics & Statistics Chhattisgarh announced a notification for the recruitment of 92 Assistant Statistical Officer & Investigator. There are 26 vacancies are for Statistical Officers and 66 are of Investigator. Selection of the candidates is based on their performance in Written Examination, and for written examination candidates required their admit cards.

Candidates are advised to check their registered E-mail on frequently because board will send admit card and detail of selected candidates direct to your mail box. Candidates can also download the same from the official website from 20-09-2013, fifteen days before the examination date. Candidates must have their registration id to download.  If any candidates didn't receive it, are advised to contact to the board.

PAPER -1 (for Assistant Statistical Officer and statistical Investigator)

  • Part-1: Questions-100
Marks-100

General questions related to Hindi and English language, GK, Current Affairs, Numerical aptitude, History, about Chhattisgarh, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Mathematics, Science etc.

Part-2 - Questions -50

Marks- 50

Syllabus-

STATISTICS: Central Tendency, Simple problems in probability, conditional probability.Binomial distribution, Simple problem in correlation and regression (12th Standard).

MATHEMATICS: Algebra, differential and integral calculus, coordinate geometry of two dimensions, Numerical methods (12th Standard).


PAPER -2 (for Assistant Statistical Officer only)

Syllabus:

STATISTICS: (graduation syllabus: partial correlation, Bay’s theorem (conditional probability). Normal, Chi square, t and F distributions, Simple non parametric tests, Point and Interval estimation, Simple Random Sampling – with and without replacement, systematic sampling, stratified sampling, probability sampling (PPSWOR), Numerical Mathematical Analysis- Newton forward and backward interpolation, Lagrange interpolation, Ratio estimate.

Official Statistics: Consumer price indices, Whole sale price, CSO, NSSO etc.

Demographic methods: Crude birth rates, crude death rates, Infant mortality rates, total fertility rate, life table

Indian Economics: national Income of India, Qualities of Indian Economics, Panchvarshiye Yojnai, etc.

Economics: National Income and Related Aggregates, Forms of Market, International Market, etc.
