WB Forest Services & Subordinate Forest Services Exam Pattern and Syllabus of Examination 2016

Public Service Commission, West Bengal going to commence the Examination Process for this recruitment. this examination has two parts

i) Preliminary Exam: The Preliminary Exam is based on General Studies and Arithmetic. This exam will carry 200 Marks and 2:30 Hours of time. This exam consist the Question from the given fields:

a)      English Composition- 20 marks,

b)      Arithmetic- 20 marks

c)      General Mental Ability- 20 marks,

d)      General Science- 25 marks,

e)      The Current Events of National and International Importance- 25 marks,

f)       World Geography- 25 marks,

g)      Indian Polity and Economy- 20 marks,

h)      Indian National Movement-  20 marks,

i)        History of India- 25 marks

ii) Main Exam:
The main Exam shall be consist two parts as

(i) Compulsory Subject: English Essay, Precis Writing and Composition & Bengali/  Urdu/ Nepali &General Studies.

(ii) Optional Subjects:  Candidates have to choose two optional Subjects from the list of given Subjects: 

i) Computer Science,

ii) Mathematics,

iii) Chemistry,

iv) Agriculture

v) Computer Application,

vi)  Agricultural Engineering,

vii) Chemical Engineering,

viii) Civil Engineering,
ix) Forestry,

x) Electrical Engineering,
