Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has revised its notification recruitment of constable. According to new notification, the vacancies has been revised from 20000 constable to 35500 nos. It means there will be an additional 15500 nos. of constable will be added to UP Police department.

Details of vacancies are as under

Eligibility-

Age limit –

• For Male candidates: Between 18 and 22 years, as on 1^st July 2013
• For Female candidates: Between 18 and 25 years, as on 1^st July 2013

Qualification - 

Educational qualification for eligibility is Matriculation (10^th / High School) or equivalent 

UP Police Constable Selection procedure

Candidates have to go through physical test followed by written examination. The selection will be based on the performance on both the examination.

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online from the official website of UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board from 18^th pf July 2013 till 18^th of September 2013.

There are two ways to for the application:

Offline: Through Post by filling OMR Application Form

• Get the Application form from the post office
• Fill the OMR sheet of application
• Submit in the same post office along with application fee (200/-)

Note: Only filled OMR form have to be submitted, no need of any further documents.

Online: Through portal of UP Police Recruitment Board

• Open the website www.prpb.up.nic.in
• Go on “Candidates Registration” section
• Fill the online application form
• Take printout of Registration Slip and e-Challan
• Take the printouts to SBI or PNB and make the payment of application fee of Rs. 200/-
• Re login on the portal with your Transaction ID, Journal Number which is received from the bank on bank challan
• Now upload your softcopy of recently taken passport sized photo and scanned copy of signature
• Click on “Submit” button. But, before submitting, view your application form to re-check for mistakes, if any.
• Take the printout of your application, it will required for further processes, like to download your UP Police Constable & Fireman Hall Ticket / Admit Card 2013.
