invites applications from unmarried Indian male candidates for the post of
Yantrik for 3 years diploma holders. This is an excellent opportunity to work with Indian Navy. Other details of recruitment are as under:
Educational Qualification: candidates must be Matriculate having three year Diploma
in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Engg. Having 60% aggregate marks from
recognized Board or Institute.
Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18-22 years (5 year
relaxation for SC/ST and 3 Years for OBC Category).

Instructions for how to apply online :
First candidates have to log-on to the official website of Indian
Coast Guard i.e. www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in and then click on the opportunities
button displaying on webpage.
Then select the post applied for.
- Read the instructions carefully and click the button of” I Agree”
- Then fill all the required information like: Name, Father/ Mother name, Date of Birth, Percentage of Marks in Diploma, valid E- Mail ID, Mobile No etc carefully.
- After filling the entire information click on the button of submit, and take a print out of the filled auto generated application form. After the Successful submission of application forms one registration no is provided by the board to the candidate.
- Candidates are advised to take a 2 print out of application forms with registration no, both the copies of the print out of application duly signed with photograph are to be carried by the applicant to the recruitment center.
- Out of the above two copies, one copy enclosed with photocopies of all required documents. Second copy is to be kept with the candidates as an identity proof.
Exam date: Exam is planned to conduct on March or April 2016. Exact date will be mentioned in the admit card.

Selection Procedure for Indian Coast Guard Yantrik Recruitment:
- Candidates will be short listed on the basis higher percentage of marks in the diploma.
- Short listed candidates will have to appear in written examination. The questions paper will contain questions from their respective discipline (Mechanical /Electrical/Electronics & Telecommunication.
- Candidates who qualified the written examination will have to undergo Physical Fitness Test, Interview and Medical examination.
