FCI MT Exam 2016 Syllabus, Exam Pattern

Food Corporation of India Management Trainee Exam Pattern and Syllabus

FCI MT Selection Process includes three steps -

Step 1 – Written Examination
Step 2 – Group Discussion (GD)
Step 3 – Personal Interview (PI)

Weightage is also assigned for different steps, like for Written Test – 70%, GD – 10%, PI – 10%. Training also comprises of weightage of 10%.

FCI MT Written Exam Pattern

Depending on post code, FCI MT Recruitment Exam will take two different papers:
  • Paper 1 for Position Code A to C
  • Paper 1 & Paper 2 for Position Code D to H
This means, Paper 1 will be compulsory for all the positions of MT and Paper 2 will only compulsory for candidates who are taking examination for post code D to H.
These papers will be in English and Hindi language both.

FCI MT Exam Syllabus

Paper 1 (1 hr 30 mins)

There will be 120 nos. of MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) which will consist –
  • Current Affairs,
  • General Awareness,
  • Computer Knowledge,
  • Reasoning,
  • Data Analytical Skills
  • Management
Paper 2 (1hr 30 mins)

This paper will also consist of 120 nos. of MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) and questions will depend on position of Management Trainee.
  • MT Accounts – General Finance and Accounts
  • MT Technical – Food Science & Technology, Agriculture, Agricultural Engg and Biotechnology
  • MT Civil/Mech/Electrical Engineering – questions will be according to stream i.e. questions from Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering for respective positions.
Each question in both the papers will be of 3 marks, negative marking for 1 marks will be applicable on each wrong answer.

For exam preparation, candidates may solve sample papers for FCI MT Exam 2016.
