IIM CAT Notification 2016-2017
Common Admission Test (CAT) which
is conducted by IIMs to take admission in management programs in 13 IIMs all
across the country. IIMs are premier in providing management education and well
recognized all over the world.
This year CAT 2016 notification has been given
by IIM Indore for various management programs of IIMs.

CAT 2016 Exam Date
CAT Exam will be a 20 days online
examination will be conducting various examination centers and a candidate can appear
only once for the examination. Examination will start commencing from
CAT 2016 Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA
- For SC, ST and PWD candidates, relaxation of 5% is being given, i.e., with minimum marks of 45% or equivalent CGPA
- For the candidates who are appearing in final year bachelor’s degree must have to submit their final marks.
- For Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates – 15%
- For Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates – 7.5%
- For Other Backward Caste, “non creamy layer” only (NC-OBC) candidates – 27%
- For Physically Disabled (PWD) candidates – 3%
Registration fees for General and
NC-OBC candidates will be Rs. 1,600/- and for SC, ST, PWD & DA candidates,
registration fees will be Rs. 800/-.
Kindly note, registration fees
will be made in the name of candidates only and it is not refundable in any
case.
CAT 2016 Online Application Form
Registration will start from August'15 till September'15. Registration details will be
made available from August '15 5 pm.
CAT 2016 Score Card
Each candidates will be given score
cards after the examination and they have to download their CAT 2016 score card online. Result will be declared on January '16 on the same
website.
Validity of Score Card
CAT 2016 score card will be valid
till 31st December'13 and candidates can download their score card
from the official website till 31st Dec’13 only.
Admission Procedure
After declaration of CAT 2016 Result, each IIMs will declare their cut off marks. On the basis of cut off
marks candidates will be called for further admission process. Further process
may include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussions (GD) and Personal
Interviews (PI).
IIMs will publish list of shortlisted candidates
on their respective websites. Basis of shortlisting will comprises of CAT sectional cut off marks, educational track record, work experience etc.
