Union Public Service Commission, on 12th April'14, has published a recruitment notification of Assistant Commandants. This year there are 136 Nos. of posts under this recruitment. More details are mentioned below:

Eligibility:
Age (as on 1st Aug'14): Min 20 yrs to Max 25 yrs
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any stream

Eligible Candidates are required to apply online. Candidates can use the website link of UPSC for filling online application forms. Online applications forms are available on the official website of UPSC www.upsconline.nic.in

Post wise number of posts

• Border Security Force (BSF): 68 nos.
• Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF): 28 nos.
• Central Industrial Security Force (CISF): 40 nos.

Selection Procedure: 

• Written Exam
• Physical & Medical Standards Test
• Physical Efficiency Test
• Interview

Application Fee: Rs. 200/-. This fee can be paid either offline by paying on any SBI branch or by online net banking/debit card/credit card of SBI or its associated banks.

How to apply for UPSC Central Armed Police Force AC Recruitment 2014

There are some instructions by which interested candidates may get help in filling the application form.

1. Applicants are advised to fill and submit only one application form; if any candidate filled double application form the forms will be rejected.
2. In case if any candidate fills multiple applications due to any unavoidable situation then the candidates who are submitting multiple applications should note that only that application with higher RID (Registration ID) shall be only entertained by the commission.
3. Candidates who are in Government Service, Government undertaking firms, or other organizations should required to submit the applications to the commission, and also the candidates in government jobs have to submit the application in writing to their Head of Office or Department that they are going to applied for the examination, candidates can note that if commission will received any note of misconception from the side of candidates employer then their application will be liable to be rejected and also to be cancelled.
4. Candidates are advised, not to submit the Hard Copy of application form to the commission.
5. Candidates are advised to fill and decide their Examination Centers very carefully.
6. Incomplete or defective application forms will not be entertained by the commission in any case.
7. Candidates have to ensure that they are full filling all the eligibility criteria of the commission.
8. Commission will issue an e - admission certificate three weeks before the examination, candidates can download their e- Admission certificate from the official website of UPSC i.e. www.upsc.gov.in commission is not liable to sent any certificate by post. Candidates are advised to provide their valid e -mail id while filling Online Application form.
